Advanced Placement

Advanced Placement or AP is a national sponsored curriculum sponsored by the College Board. The College Board establishes the course of study and provides a standardized test in May of each year. The test is nationally scored and those receiving a score of 3 or better can earn college credit dependent on individual colleges. Advanced Placement classes receive a weighted quality point on the GPA for a grade of A, B, or C. The following AP classes are offered at

American Government 12 th grade

Art 11 th / 12 th grade

 Biology 11 th / 12 th grade

Chemistry 11 th / 12 th grade

 English 12 th grade

 Physics 12 th grade
