On Wednesday, March 4, 2009, Tabitha Robinson and Robyn Blake, Senior AP students at Hueytown High School were honored for their Alabama  third place finish in the NMSI (National Math and Science Initiative) “Fun is Learning Math and Science” Films competition.  Students in six NMSI Grant states were invited to create a video with an original treatment of a math or science theme demonstrating that math and science are fun and where the action is.  Tabitha and Robyn were each presented a TI-INSPIRE graphing calculator from Texas Instruments and a $150 scholarship for their original video “Drinking and Deriving.”
